It came down to the 72nd hole to determine the winner of this year’s CME Group Tour Championship. Ariya Jutanugarn, who was one of four players who held the overnight lead, made birdie on four of her last six holes to win by one-stroke and avoid a three-way playoff with Lexi Thompson and Jessica Korda.

Hole Description

Starting out through a chute of towering pines, this risk/reward par 5 flows to the right and then bends back to the left around a gorgeous lake. Long hitters may be tempted to go for the green in two shots. Those who dare had better not miss the green, as trouble surrounds all sides of this green.
This dogleg left par 4 bends around a tall stand of pine trees, requiring pinpoint accuracy off the tee. An errant tee shot here could find a bunker, a pine tree or even the water.
Another Tiburon special with all of the ingredients: a rolling fairway, coquina waste areas, water and an elevated green with collection areas on all sides.
Adjacent to a beautiful lake on the left, this par 4 hugs the water the entire length of the hole providing a spectacular view. Water, stacked sod wall bunkers, and native Muhly grass surround the green which gives it an island appearance.
As players make the turn around this tranquil lake, a beautiful par 3 protected by water and two greenside bunkers awaits. Accuracy off the tee is a premium on this hole.
An alluring par 5 that stretches as far as one can see tests the player's nerves. Lined by tall pines, cypress trees and fairway bunkers, this hole demands both length and accuracy.
This testy little par 4 challenges every player's accuracy, as the tee shot must pass through a chute of pines once again. Avoiding the coquina waste area and native foliage on the right is the key to scoring on this hole.
This scenic par 3 allows no room for error when negotiating the water on the left and the greenside bunker in front. A tee shot to the middle of the green is the safest play.
Another picturesque hole that demands accuracy off the tee. Split the middle of the fairway, avoid the water on the second shot and enjoy the spectacular view of the Tiburon Clubhouse and The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples.
